  2. Throughout his career, Judge Kavanaugh has consistently ruled against the disability community. I have no doubt he will make it harder for us to fight discrimination and access quality health care and education if confirmed to the Supreme Court.

  3. I want to sincerely thank all of the hard-working staff that helped the committee successfully hold hearings to consider Judge Kavanaugh to be on the Supreme Court.

I wonder how Chief Justice John Roberts feels about having proven perjurer Kavanaugh on his court. It will surely seal the fate of the Roberts Court in the history books as one that was ultimately illegitimate. Republican rubber-stamp means the Judicial Branch is dead.

  7. There is little doubt that Kavanaugh’s vote on would undo hard earned rights that are embedded in our constitution & have the support of the American people. Voting rights & policies that promote diversity & equality in our country now hang in the balance.

nominee Brett Kavanaugh is a threat to abortion access. He worked to block an undocumented minor who was held in government custody from her right to abortion care. He is an extremist who will not protect women’s rights.

  9. Don’t know what was more dismaying at the Kavanaugh hearings – the grandstanding and character assassination from liberal senators or the out-of-control screaming and disruption from leftist protestors. What a disgrace.

  10. If you take a look at nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s record, you’ll find an alarming history of upholding discriminatory voting laws. Kavanaugh is a serious threat to the progress we’ve made to defend the right of every eligible citizen to vote.

is imminently qualified to serve on . With 480,000 pages received, has received more executive branch material for this nominee than for the last 5 justices combined. I have no doubt that he can serve the American people well.

.: This is the beginning of the destruction of the third branch of government. The executive branch has already been corrupted. Congress has been corrupted. If the Supreme Court is done we're just a third world potentate

5/ And, as noted in my column, Kavanaugh is almost certain to be confirmed...so the ROI on calling Susan Collins’ office is relatively low, compared to the ROI on helping get the word out. can’t rule on suits that aren’t brought.

Happy Monday. Today is a perfect day to ask your Republican Senator why they'd vote to confirm a nominee to who jeopardizes women's reproductive health (but tires to cover that up).

No one in good conscience can confirm an unqualified nominee simply to save a President from justice, but that has never stopped Republicans before.

  20. Judge Brett Kavanaugh's week-long confirmation hearing ended today. He nailed it! Now we can look forward to a Committee vote and then getting him confirmed by the full Senate.
