    My fiance has NEVER voted. He is 50. I convinced him to register to vote. What convinced him was the bill that Scott Wiener pushed/passed, Gavin Newsom signed into law. reduces the punishment from felony to misdemeanor for 🤬 with 👶 He loves that Trump is a fighter. ❤🇺🇸

    What makes me sick to my stomach: , the increase of child abuse as result of school closures, the release of sexual predators back on our streets, 1/3 of Californians living in or on the brink of poverty, the homelessness crisis and failed leadership on issue after issue.

    the craziest part about people attacking california’s is that CA has one of the strictest age of consent laws in the whole country. here, it’s statutory rape for an 18 year old to have sex w/ a 17 year old, but there’s like 10 states where it’s legal for a 16 & 20 yr old.

    brings parity to existing appalling discretion that a judge has on predatory behavior. Its defenders believe that consensual sex with a minor is okay when the minor is above 14 years and the adult is younger than 26. California is on fire and embraces Sodom and Gomorrah

    I am appalled and disappointed that the governor signed into law. I do not think it is ever appropriate for a 24 year-old to have any sexual relations with a 14-year old regardless of gender or sexual orientation. 1/2
