I'm pleased that case numbers & hospitalizations in many European countries have a downward trend - but hesitant to overinterpret this. #SARSCoV2 is seasonal & while that isn't entirely due to temperature, some of it is - & this season in Europe has been... quite warm! 1/4

It’s sounding more & more likely those who believe each covid reinfection (even the asymptomatic ones) cause more damage are correct. Isn’t it time people were made aware of this, rather than led to believe each subsequent #SARSCoV2 infection is less likely to damage them?

We need the public to be aware that everyone is vulnerable to #LongCovid The only way to prevent it is to avoid infection with #SARSCoV2 by "wearing masks, avoiding crowded or closed places, and self-isolating at the first sign of infection"
