    is capable of doubling cases in ~4 days w/o sufficient controls. We're in for a rough few months as we have left such controls too late & seem unwilling to take strict enough controls. We've also not admitted the seriousness of airborne transmission, including outdoors.

    Do you think these mutations we are witnessing, those becoming dominant, might be reversions from an attenuated virus? If the original strain of is an attenuated version, could that be why there are so many successful vaccines. And into what is it reversing to?

    I agree, as a layman, I conclude the same. But that would be the opposite of expected, how can every new infection through life result in a worse reaction & outcome, like it depletes our capacity to fight it? Also, it seems there's room for to mutate to be more efficient.
