    I had a lot of feelings today about the Supreme Court debating my whether employers should be able to fire me because of a single sliver of my identity, so I wrote a thing and I'd love if you read it:

    I'm an out trans high school teacher. When I go to work I show young people that being trans is just another way to be human. I am living proof to trans youth that a happy, successful future is possible. And that is a "massive social upheaval".

    How does a person’s identity or who they choose to sleep with have anything to do with whether or not they can properly do their job? 15 years strong at my company and now I could lose that because I’m pansexual? Fuck that! we will not allow anymore discrimination

    As the weighs whether Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 covers discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, let's show the Senate that we want a vote on the to protect our citizens.

  10. No one should ever be fired simply because of who they are, how they identify, or who they love. I'm proud Oregon has passed LGBTQ nondiscrimination protections, and hope SCOTUS will do the right thing here.

  13. Far-right news platform Breibart trying to pass off a group of transphobes lobbying outside the Supreme Court for protections to be REMOVED just to attack trans people, as a “woman’s rights rally”! This is what anti-trans manipulation by the media looks like!
