    I can't understand how the Indian Variant got into the UK. After adding Pakistan and Bangladesh to the red list for travel, we then let 20,000 people arrive here from India before getting around to adding them. It's a mystery...

    Yvette Cooper - The government should have put India on the red list at the same time as Pakistan & Bangladesh... 1000s have returned from India, & that probably includes 100s of cases of the new variant... & that's a huge problem for us.

    Steve Reed on this morning was blaming Covid for Starmers lack of Big speeches. They are in absolute fantasyland if they think Starmer could fill a coffee shop. People aren't showing up because they don't expect him to say anything worth hearing.
