    🇮🇸🌋 The Stampar craters are a remnant of the latest effusive eruption in now 800 years ago. No had occurred in this area until 19-3-‘21 when a fissure vent appeared south of mountain.

  5. Northly or variable 3-10 m/s so gas is mainly advected to the south but can be measured in towns close to the eruption site as well. Possibility that older can be detected in the southwest part of Iceland.

    During a quiescent phase, the vent nicknamed 'Nar' produced a small, parasitic vent on the outside of the wall of the spatter cone. Here is the video of the whole thing appearing.

  13. NW and W 3-8 m/s today. Gas will blow to the SE and E and could be detected in Ölfus. N-ly 3-8 m/s tomorrow, and gas pollution could blow over the southern part of Reykjanes peninsula.

    The crater in Fagradalsfjall mountain is now overflowing and it looks like it has weaken. I am not sure if it's enough to result in a collapse but it is possible that might happen.
