AOPA seeks to improve drone tracking https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all-news/2020/february/03/aopa-seeks-to-improve-drone-tracking#.XjrsEFhnnMQ.twitter … I agree with
@AOPA 's input on#remoteID . Net connections for rec drones is dumb; stick with broadcast. Encrypted remote pilot loc = great idea. But rec drones ARE the big problem today, need RID#drones#uas -
Finally a visionary statement.

So if Cell carriers cannot track person location, how will the
@FAANews skirt Federal law in tracking pilots with proposed#RemoteID ? https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20200201/10360743835/1-year-later-fcc-finally-admits-wireless-carriers-broke-law-location-data.shtml …@sUASnews@DroneDJ@AjitPaiFCC@FCC@dronelaws@droneinnovation@fromwhereidrone -
Happy Tuesday: Did you ask a
#drone friend if they commented on the NPRM for#remoteID ? Give them the right guide to comment! http://droneadvocacykit.com -
While AOPA supports remote identification of unmanned aircraft in broad terms, the rules that the FAA has proposed would impose needless burdens on recreational users and others who keep their aircraft in sight.

The
#RemoteID discourse right now could probably benefit from some Chris Voss wisdom: Never know what you want SO BAD that you wouldn't accept something better. -

Take a look at what WILL happen if the current
@FAANews NPRM on#remoteid is passed as currently written. All data is for sale at some point.@dronelawshttps://twitter.com/iMore/status/1223559851076411392 … -
How many policy makers could tell you the one indicator of a safe flight on a drone?

Remote ID & YOUR drone - Comment... politely to the FAA on *YOUR* thoughts to these proposed rules BEFORE they become law. If you don't... don't complain if you can't fly your drone where and when you want to (obviously w/ common sense!
