    They want to move the singles from the small tents to the big ones on Monday,and the singles were very unhappy and angry because there are more than seventy people living in the big tents, it is very crowded and noisy,we do not want to go to the big tents may forcibly transfer us

    We pray that no one has been injured today in this fire. This camp on is 6 times over capacity and fire broke out early in the morning, the outcome could have been devastating loss of life.

    Early this morning a fire broke out in the camp on Samos. This camp has a capacity of 648 but right now there are 3858 people residing there in overcrowded conditions. The fire is now under control areas were evacuated, around 150 tents/ containers and 700 people affected.

    Governing the displaced on a basis of : While technical standards & systems of monitoring increase by the day at sea (drones) + land (walls), most of the 21.000+ residents in Aegean camps remain in tents without heating system, enough food or clean water.

    ! The substandard camps in (recently engulfed by another fire) and will be shut down by December or January 2021, I am told by official directly involved in the matter. To be replaced by new centers under EU funding.

    The farmer who threatened Turkish at gunpoint appears at court today, accused of assault with racist motivation. The case raises questions on the role of locals continuing to act as an informal, armed border guard, like back in March.

    We urge the to launch a rescue operation for the 60 in distress immediatly. Don't let them drown! Only two days ago a boy died and 4 more ppl are still missing after a boat sunk!

    SOS in the AEGEAN ! This morning, we were alerted by a boat in distress in Greek waters, carrying 60 people. Their last position was 36.825730, 24.231551. told us that they already located the boat. We demand immediate rescue to the nearest safe harbour in Greece!
