    The fucking audacity. He knew what he was doing. He compared an Asian group to coronavirus TWICE in one week. The pandemic was a major reason why violence towards Asians rose in the US, and he continued the “joke” and repeated the offense.

    Knowing Kimmel's track record with racist "jokes" (the blackface incidence etc.), he probably knows exactly what he was doing and meant it. Next would be the non-apology statement, the gaslighting and the playing victim. It's in his playbook.

    As my friends know, in addition to being a huge securities law nerd, I am also a huge BTS fan. Over the years, I’ve gotten plenty of grief about this. And, I've heard plenty, too. /+

    A mistake repeated more than once is not mistake again but it's a decision. It's not something that deserves to be called "jokes" it's not a joke anymore!

    Why does someone who has had to apologize not once, not twice, but over and over and over for their racism still have a show on network late night TV? You can find better late night hosts than Kimmel. It’s long past time to do it.
