    I've posted this before, and I think it's important to post it again today on - Some people won't want to talk about not being ok. That's ok, your presence can be healing. And it's always ok to ask again later, and again. Just let them know you're there.

    The day after ; 3 ways for the government to ensure more people are OK: 1. Don’t give tax cuts to the wealthy-increase Newstart to at least the level of the Disability Support Pension; 2. Put some of those same saved billions from the tax cuts into public health; and

  8. I have an interview coming out today that caught me a bit offgaurd in my emotional response concerning mental health. I want to use the moment to direct people to resources, who specifically provide support for young people. They're wonderful!

  9. Always check in on your mates and see how they are. Sometimes it’s the ones who appear the strongest and happiest on the outside that are going through the toughest times ❤️

  10. I have so many days where I haven’t been. I still do. I’m proud to be comfortable saying I suffer anxiety and stress and just that empty feeling at times where you wish you could explain why you feel it, but you can’t. Just ask. R U OK? It may change a life.

    When I was 18, I wasn’t ok so two police officers threw me into a paddywagon. I was covered in bruises from how much force they used. I weighed 40kg at the time and was not violent or on drugs, and I wasn’t under arrest. ain’t gonna fix that.

  12. Today may be but let us make it everyday and prevent further loss to suicide. Thinking of my sister Dr Chloe Abbott and all those lost too soon

  13. is gravely ill and was found by United Nations to have all symptoms of psychological . He is being tortured in solitary confinement now in imprisonment that is illegal under international law. He may die.

    Today is RU OK Day - it is a great reminder of the importance and indeed everywhere and every day to take the time to care for and support the well-being of our colleagues.
