    Saddened to hear of the passing of Richard Donner. I may be showing my age, but The Goonies is a classic film which I still enjoy rewatching.

    Director Richard Donner has passed away at the age of 91 changed cinema with his 1978's SUPERMAN film, the first modern day superhero film. Without Donner’s Superman, there would be no superhero films as we know them now. RIP sir 🙏

    Always believed the genius of Richard Donner was his ability to explore/accentuate the humanity within his films, no matter if it was a blockbuster or a brilliant little character study - like my fave, Inside Moves. If you haven’t seen it, treat yourself soon.

    emailed me a few weeks ago, I’d wanted to get back in touch. Lovely man who directed us in & called me to pop in on ..he said “I’ll owe you one, kid.” Only to Dick would a not so young man be a kid. Truly the best

    So saddened to hear of the passing of the legendary Richard Donner, who directed so many of my favourite movies. The Omen. The Goonies. Ladyhawke. Lethal Weapon. Superman. His films are still watched by me to this day. He will be missed. 😔🙏🕊
