    For 412 days now, advocates have been calling on & to impose an arms embargo on Ethiopia. Now, UAE has been providing drones & mercenaries to Ethiopia & Eritrea pushing away the chance of peace.

    A Doctor, 1 of our partners in Tigray, informed us that the drone attack in Alamata, southern Tigray attacked a market place, a church & school. The ages of those killed in the attack ranges from 5 - 70 years old. 50 people have died and a further 100+ wounded.

    Abiy responded to Tigray's olive branch by escalating drone strikes in Mekelle, Korem, Maichaw in last 24 hours. Eyewitnesses say these attacks are by far the most vicious and extensive since the outbreak of the war. The drones are now attacking in swarms, indiscriminately.

    By man-made famine and by dropping bombs, the Ethiopian government continues to terrorize in multiple ways; even after Tigray offering peace negotiations. should not be trusted!

    Drone warfare in is in the way of peace. It emboldens the idea of a winner-take-all approach. Where seeking peace is in the interest of all. What good can possibly come from the continuation of attacks after Tigray government offered withdrawal for peace negotiations?

    To protect civilians, the international community needs to impose a No-Fly zone over Tigray, deny and disrupt military supply, including military-grade drones, by imposing an immediate arms embargo.
