Plan for voter ID is blatant voter suppression as targets people less likely to vote Tory   Alongside crushing local democracy over planning & scrapping PR voting, this is deliberate attempt to squeeze support for other parties   Tories aiming for a one-party state

  17. So Brits who have been living abroad for more than 15 years are to be allowed to vote, but 16-year-olds still can’t, and nor can anyone without photo ID? A driving licence costs £44, a passport £85. Not hard to see which way the voter suppression cookie crumbles
