    What a shift. Currently have 4 officers assaulted with one in hospital. There really are some challenging people around. Thankfully will all live to do it all again tomorrow. Is it time to go home yet?

    Controversial “spit hood” training first thing. Having been spat previously it’s horrendous. Weeks of worry waiting to make sure all clear.

    Offender sentenced to a conditional discharge and £150 compensation for punching and biting a officer while being detained. Fair sentence? PUNCHING & BITING I’m not even sure a conditional discharge is a sentence!

    Colleague is currently working on a job where two PCSOs were assaulted. After a struggle they managed to detain the suspect until support arrived.

    An officer in Plymouth yesterday had his thumb dislocated by offender pulling it aggressively and a Plymouth detention officer was spat at in the face. Assaults like these are all to common.

    Busy evening as lates Duty Det Insp - high risk missing persons, rape investigatons and an officer that was seriously assaulted arresting a suspect. Response Officer in hospital being treated. Suspect arrested and will now feel the full weight of the law

    Sadly this afternoon one of our PCSO colleagues was assaulted whilst protecting the community from a nuisance motorbike rider. They're fine. Proud of the response from the whole team as a result, justice will face the suspect

    An early morning spent with two different crews with two different prisoners at hospital. Both who think it’s acceptable to assault NHS staff

    Please actually read and take note. Over 3/4 of our Officers feel this and I can assure you countrywide will be the same if not more. We expect them to risk their lives?? For how much longer?? That also means pay them their worth.
