    we are privileged to have healthcare we don't have to pay for. Imagine we had to have insurance to get any help but you couldn't afford it or the policy would not cover what you needed. Having a baby cost, stitches cost, xray another cost.

    I would walk through walls to protect the NHS. They have been incredible through all of Dad’s cancer battle. Please UK folks, vote for parties who will build this wonderful institution up, not break it apart. Oh, and they need a massive pay rise.

    this is a very worrying development. Why is the NHS GP Service being privatised in this why, and why to US financiers? I trust you can assure me that surgeries in our constituency are not vulnerable to such arrangements!

    500,000 patients have had their GP services quietly passed into the hands of a US health insurance company. Step-by-step the Tories want to hand over our NHS to US health giants. If we fight them all the way, we can stop them.

    I think much of the incoherence & backflips in response, esp in rich countries, came about b/c ppl don't understand who ICU teams are & what they do I'm an intensive care specialist who did an MBA to try & understand this better myself, here goes at an explanation: 🧵⬇️

    Having been diagnosed with cancer myself in august of last year, having major surgery just before the second lockdown and all my chemos in a lockdown of some kind, I am 100% grateful for the fact that the NHS exist.
