    We made it through the whole ! 6-7 hours in VR each day, our faces are numb but it was worth it! Excellent event, great job all the speakers and especially !

    So now, after a small break, I did a little writeup about how came together. Everything from initial proposal to technical solutions. It was a fairly ambitious project for the 3 weeks i had to build it, but it was hella fun

    11/ Some final thoughts about the virtual conf in : It was the closest I've had to an actual conference experience replicated in VR. Why? Everyone fully committed to being in VR for 10+ hours over two days listening to talks & connecting via Q&A during breaks.

    One amusing observation from the event this weekend: it's the first technical conference I've ever been to where the majority of the attendees were visually female. (Many of the rest were not even technically human. )
