    Curious what happens when a lobe of the moves through the US? Observed station record temperatures over the past 7 days⬇️ The entire Central US saw some of the coldest the past week with several locations breaking their daily, monthly, & all time record lows

    During the cold temperatures we had a visit from a Ruffed Grouse and you can see how the Grouse stays warm by puffing up all it’s feathers.

    We're very lucky to still have power, but the humans say we need to keep the heat down and save so other people can have power. The house is cold so I'm helping the human stay warm while they do homework.

    Ice going out on the at ,. It did't really freeze hard here until the a few weeks ago, but has been frozen upstream for a while. The ice mass is now moving south at abt 3MPH (normal river speed).
