    Not printed, published online, & not a formal publication, this piece for took out of the science literature and into mainstream. It's gone on to have a huge impact & led to many other articles highlighting the issue

  14. Let's just have a look at some of the 'species' that have a haven in ... Oh look they are all animals! Where is Cotoneaster cambricus? Sorbus arvonensis? Hieracium snowdoniense? Sorbus leyana? Liparis loeselii? Etc....

    Flowers are really difficult to display in museums, and so are often completely left out. But these beautiful botanical models are a brilliant way of ensuring they are included.

    V excited about this announcement: a new 5-part natural history programme called 'The Green Planet' to be narrated by Sir David Attenborough and that will be focusing on plants, not animal wildlife. Scheduled for 2021.
