Email an hour ago from my son's school. Face masks stay ON until the end of January. Parents attending any events at school are required to wear face masks too. Seems the schools are doing the right thing to protect staff, students and the community.

Media are repeating govt's mantra that the decision to scrap remains "finely balanced", but how exactly is it finely balanced when >94,000 cases was reported yesterday in UK, deaths⬆️(highest since Feb) and we *already have* >310,000 children off school?

Cannot help feeling that Johnson has just sacrificed thousands of clinically vulnerable people to save his job… 438 dead yesterday, Plan B ended today. Acceptable losses or blood sacrifice, if you are comfortable with either, I don’t know what to say to you.

  20. Removing simple, effective mitigations such as mask wearing in the middle of a pandemic shows murderous judgement. To do so in a bid to save your political neck, especially when 70% of people think restrictions should remain, is scandalous.

  21. Keep wearing a mask to protect yourself and others 😎
