    I was so busy posting images of the full moon over yesterday, I didn't even talk about that incredible sunrise. The view from under the West End Bridge was, for lack of a better word, insane. The way the sun lit up the fog made it look like the whole scene was on fire

    A few more images of the 'blue moon' in last night. I decided to shoot more wide angle images that I normally do, to showcase the city as a whole and not just focus on the moon at a super telephoto focal length. The setting sun gave the city a perfect warm glow.

    𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮! 😍🤤😍🤤 Yesterday I picked up this amazing Detroit Style Artisan from @eddiespizza412 (on Instagram). It's topped with cheese and pepperoni and finished off with sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, garlic oil and grated cheese.

    Two years ago, 11 Jewish men and women were murdered while they sat in the Tree of Life Synagogue in during Saturday Shabbat services. May their memory be for a blessing.

    Another one of those scenes that I just kept chasing, and finally captured it. I always seemed to miss peak by a few days, but on Friday the trees along Washington's Landing were on fire as they made a path to downtown , creating a perfect fall view.

    Last week I spent a dreary morning in Point State Park in , capturing some of the colorful foliage. It was some of the brightest I can remember in the park and stood out incredibly well against the overcast sky. I think the empty walkway/tunnel of trees is my favorite.

    One of the craziest throwbacks I’ll ever do. Exactly one year ago today was the infamous sinkhole bus incident in and I gotta say, when I captured this image I had no idea it would be a top 10 seller for the holidays. Kinda looks more like a painting than a photograph

    One of my favorite things about capturing fog in is how it gets illuminated by the sunlight early in the morning. Last week just a small patch was lit up over the river with this eerie red glow, perfect for October. The sun behind the spires was beautiful as well.

    I’m going to be editing foggy images for months. Here’s another one from last week, this time a panorama that focuses on Point State Park. The sun was just lighting up the top of the fog, and you can even see some fall color in the park.

    It may have been overcast in this morning, but those clouds had this weird purplish glow that matched the city pretty well. Plus, the Allegheny River was like a mirror from directly under the Andy Warhol Bridge, making for a really cool panorama before sunrise.

    Can't believe I forgot to share this one. A few weeks ago I spent the morning chasing the crescent moon around , and was able to capture this image. The moon is just sitting atop the spire of PPG Place, which is rising above the foliage in Point State Park.

    Still so many images to go through from the foggy mornings in earlier this week. The view from the West End on Wednesday was incredible, with the reflection of the city visible on the rivers and the whole scene framed by warm, fall colors.

    If I had captured these two shots months apart, they may have ended up being in the top 10 of images for the year. However the fog last Wednesday in was so ridiculous, these were shot just 31 minutes apart. That first one...gonna get that printed nice and big.

    When I saw the fog in today, I thought that the perfect Halloween image of the full moon setting behind a foggy skyline would all come together. However shortly after this image, the moon disappeared behind the fog. Still, a pretty spooky image to kick off today.

    Spent some time dodging raindrops yesterday morning to capture some reflections of on the North Shore. I ended up with some really cool stuff, including this one of the Clemente Bridge reflecting on, well, the Clemente Bridge. Shoutout to a truck for the light trails.
