One of the things that I love about fog is how it can make a scene glow like sunlight alone can't. Both of these views of Point State Park are from yesterday's foggy morning in
#Pittsburgh, and the unique look due to the fog makes them look like they are out of a fairytale. pic.twitter.com/lQtP5XyvrV

This morning's sunrise in
#Pittsburgh was one to remember. I've captured thousands of views of PPG Place, but this one is up there as an all-time favorite. With the sun directly behind the building, the shadow of the spires was perfectly visible on the fog. Just unbelievable. pic.twitter.com/cBcTagSZMT

After shooting sunrise from the incline today I headed down the West End Bridge. I got there just in time before the sun went behind the fog to capture this view, with steam on the rivers and long shadows from the boats and downtown
#Pittsburgh stretching through the scene. pic.twitter.com/ULkSt014Tj

After a week of rain and dreariness, the fall color is finally emerging in
#Pittsburgh, and it looked incredible this morning. With the sun rising above the city into a clear blue sky, the various shades of fall were glowing in Point State Park below the Ft. Pitt Bridge. pic.twitter.com/dZ7zUY3mts

Have I mentioned I love fall in
#Pittsburgh? It's just so much fun to be a photographer in this city this time of year. Scenes like this one from yesterday morning are one of the big reasons why, with colorful leaves providing the perfect fall frame for the Duquesne Incline. pic.twitter.com/8imJ4xMdYc

This morning's sunrise in
#Pittsburgh was just incredible. It was pretty foggy earlier before clearing before sunrise, and then coming back in full force just after it. When the sun lit up the fog surrounding the incline, it made for an amazing scene, complete with fall colors. pic.twitter.com/II00iGBvD2

More moon images from this morning in
#Pittsburgh, including the one that I went out to capture. I was hoping to get the crescent right behind the Koppers Building, and it crossed the horizon just in time to do that. The tree frame the city and the moon was just a bonus. pic.twitter.com/ZtEZOKHwJm

What a difference a few days can make. These trees along the North Shore of
#Pittsburgh were mostly green early last week, but by the end of the week they were a vibrant yellow. Most of these leaves fell with this weekend's wind and rain, so I'm glad I was there when I was. pic.twitter.com/gR38godZVi

This morning's moonrise in
#Pittsburgh might be in my all time top 10. The Earth-glow was just incredible as even though the moon was just a 3.2% crescent, it damn near looked like it was full. Absolutely unbelievable to see. So many images to come, but these are early favorites. pic.twitter.com/a0WhK8WbpL

Even though it was dreary out yesterday morning in
#Pittsburgh, I spent a lot of time capturing the fall color along the North Shore, including this view from one of new favorite spots in the fall. The lone red leaf on a pile of yellow and orange ones really stood. out. pic.twitter.com/2Y7I8qdjyJ

The fall colors are still making their way around
#Pittsburgh, and Pitt's campus is really starting to look incredible. I spent about half an hour with my camera (and myself) in this tree yesterday, capturing these sun-lit leaves as they framed the Cathedral of Learning. pic.twitter.com/Mq0RD8i8x1
