    Campaigns for Plastic Free Easter Eggs has made a difference. None of the eggs we were given this year had any plastic apart from sweet packets. What was your experience?

    We are on countdown - our is Saturday and our session starts at 9.45am... we have lots of great businesses. Looking to join us and hear from Mary Makes Zero Waste - from beeswax wraps to reusable kitchen roll....

  7. For Y9 this term we are looking at Oceans Under Threat - 8 lessons created by Team Geog at KC, & updated for online learning. Includes the campaign which we were lucky enough to take part in 2 yrs ago.

  10. We’ve worked with and Sustainability teams to create these bottles for all West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service staff. They will go some way in reducing single use plastic waste on stations and in our offices

    On , here's Plasticus, the 10m whale who was on display outside the Abbey in 2018 as part of the campaign. Plasticus was made from a quarter of a ton of bottles, representing the amount of plastic that enters the oceans every second.

    Seriously ... ginger does not need wrapping in plastic... And only seeling it in packs of four like this rather than individually is also such a waste! 🙄

    pasta, rice, dried fruit etc. at . There are plenty of options in Walkley and Crookes, Sheffield-changing the way we shop can contribute to avoiding the worst of the , please play your part!

    Although progress on is glacially slow... it is at least progress, as legislation to ban the sale of plastic straws, stirrers and cotton buds finally enters parliament:
