    Transcripts of prisoner number 18-1958 reveal him referring to “voices “in his head. Transcripts also reveal he planned mass murder in a local park that he did not carry out. The same park my children play in. Voices or not, he knew right from wrong.

    I’m not a proponent of the death penalty no matter who is facing that possibility but this man clearly has emotional problems that need to be treated. Yes, what he did is reprehensible but are we capable of feeling empathy for him too?
