    Just like flu, infections have varying levels of severity. One big risk is patients with mild symptoms may not seek care or get tested. They’ll recover but could help spread infection widely. And tracing is tough when symptoms are minor. Just one scenario!

    incubation of 2-14 days means screenings are largely ineffective. If we know someone came from , we can quarantine. But, this infection transmits readily (9 German cases tied to one person). And the virus can remain infectious on surfaces for days.
