    Take a moment today to remember the 63 Canadians killed one year ago — when Flight PS752 was shot down shortly after takeoff near Tehran. It is the largest loss of Canadian lives in aviation since the Air India bombing in 1985.

    Jan 8, 2020 will always remain a black day in my calendar and a sad memory in my life. The unveiled the memorial plaque to honour the graduate students who lost their lives in the Flight PS 752 tragedy on January 8, 2020.

  19. One year ago today, Flight was shot down in Iran & the lives of so many in our community changed forever. These families continue to bear the grief & weight of loss heavily. They must know they are not alone. We must bear it with them.

    On the first anniversary of the tragic downing of I am taking a moment to remember all those who lost their lives. In Feb last year I laid this wreath and spoke with victims’ families. My thoughts today are with all those who continue to grieve.
