Would really like to chat with anyone with #MECFS who was a participant in the #PACEtrial. I am writing about the ethics of the trial. Were you fully informed, aware that GET and CBT were psychological treatments and aware of the theories being tested?

The #PACEtrial’s “findings became the global standard of care.Yet other scientists questioned its validity & demanded the journal release the study’s raw data. It took a court to make that happen, & in 2018 a new analysis revealed that exercise & therapy were not at all the cure”

#MEAction’s press team has corresponded with the SF Chronicle reporter for months on the backstory for this piece. We've had so many discussions on the abysmal state of ME clinical care, research and what we need going forward. We're thrilled see it live! bit.ly/3EZRPPc

Those psychiatrists colluded in a falsehood, destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients with M.E. & have shown no remorse. #WesselySchool #MEcfs #MedTwitter #pwME #LongCovid #PACETrial

Science is about discussion. Understanding what the evidence shows us. Treatments need to be rigorous and evidence based to ensure treatment effects are meaningful. Any such #PACEtrial subversion (profound) from RCT analytical protocols entirely undermines evidence based medicine

Paper from 2016 that again shows the importance of objective outcomes in trials to reduce systematic bias. The infamous #PACEtrial for #MECFS and other trials with the same treatment modality are designed to increase bias and give false positive.
