    Thanks to the 18 Labour MPs who voted against the which protects people who commit torture & other human rights abuses. Three of those brave MPs were junior ministers who have had to resign from their roles. Imagine losing your job for opposing torture.

  5. Our country has engaged in wars which in the view of many, saw untold brutality, detention & torture. We need to reckon with that by upholding the highest of standards - not artificially limit rules to evade responsibility. I voted against the tonight.
