It's far more likely that people in developing countries will actually strive for increased living standards, & with it all the extra consumption. is a disaster for this planet & I'd reiterate other comments... powerful, influential ppl are cowards for ignoring it

1/2 is a HUGE problem. To suggest otherwise is folly. I'm a fan George but you can't seriously discount the massively negative effects inherent to 8 billion plus ppl. You want mass but population is the single biggest driver of habitat destruction.

  8. And I remained convinced that is one of the top problems in our world. All the sustainable living in the world won't make a lick of difference with human population in the billions and careening towards 11 billion via

I completely agree. I think we're seeing all this push back because all over the world it is becoming obvious that is a serious problem but these people don't want to accept it. So they're arguing louder than ever to not have to accept it

They are not declining. A miracle if they were. They are only slowing in their growth & there is no end in sight for that growth. It will only stop when we reach the limits of the planet & will be controlled with mass starvation. We are being inhuman by allowing

You would do more by not having too many children & marching for a sustainable population. Growing populations need growing infrastructure. You people have caused this by your growth so stop it... matters

Automobiles gives people freedom, it brings you comfortable and most efficient from A to B. We should cherish this more! People in upcoming economies also would like to drive cars, the problem isn’t individual mobility. is the problem we should talk about.

No response ? You know that what I'm saying is correct. Ignoring because it is complicated and difficult, is cowardly. The problem will only increase and you are contributing to it.

The environmental mainstream ignoring or condemning discussion of , is sealing the fate of millions of Africans to poverty and death. There is no sugar coating it

Groundhog Day matters. Having to say more then that means your not thinking. Your brain dead. We don’t get multiple attempts to get it right. We are at a now or never point.

Scientists estimate that this earth can only hold 6-10 billion people and sustain them. We could already be well over that limit. We have to promote a smaller family size to refuse population so we can continue to call this earth our home.
