    After a tree had fallen yesterday blocking Barbourne Road, Worcester, Marco Zaffino offered his assistance. He chopped the fallen tree with his chainsaw and moved debris from the road. The road was reopened quickly preventing long delays. Thank you Marco!

    One of our engineers made sure that everyone kept hydrated while in a traffic jam!☀️

    Not all heroes wear capes! People were stuck on the A127 for hours today in 35C heat due to a serious collision. Mark Daniels who works for UK Power Networks then gave out all of his spare water bottles from his company van, to the elderly, children and people in need 👏

    We are dealing with dozens of calls to flooding in Barnstaple town centre. We are going to the most urgent calls first but will get to you as soon as we can. Do not drive through floodwater and never wade through water. More advice is on our website:

    Just after 7am, a IRT unit and a trooper assisted a blocking disabled car SB I-5 near . They found the male driver to be unresponsive & not breathing. They took turns performing CPR before aid arrived. The Dr. said the CPR saved his life!

    Drama on campus this morning, as 11 ducklings took a tumble into a drain pipe! Mummy duck looked on as some students rescued the babies one by one, with the help of UC Security & UC Facilities. ❤️🦆🐤
