    It's just a coincidence that the devastating 1994 M6.7 happened at the same time at night (4:30am). But, yes, tonights' earthquakes are in the same area, and larger quakes are always possible. We have to be prepared. Get an earthquake kit. Check your house

    The 4.5 earthquake in San Fernando rumbled through L.A. at 4:30 am - the exact time of the Northridge quake in January 1994.

    Wind damage in This pine tree was blown down overnight knocking out power to the homes in the area. A crew removed the tree from a car and street this morning.
