    The incompetence in the way the pandemic has been handled is nothing new. The incompetence with which social ills are handled are compounded by establishment arrogance towards inequality. Violence is a disease incubated by poverty and knife crime is a symptom!!

    Yes, having control over the central bank does mean you control the monies Scotland gets and it's always been too little. The data says so and having lived in London and The Netherlands, it's obvious.

    There’s no excuse for layoffs, funding withdrawals, or cutbacks of any kind of your university has an endowment >$1B. If you don’t spend it in a crisis, what’s it for? It’s not like it’s just a wealth generator or a status indicator-oh wait that’s it isn’t it?
