    Some polychaetes on SuBastiandive 350 Cloates Canyon ~3300m. One a lively polynoid, the other a swimmer, maybe an acrocirrid. Another fella got tangled in the brush, but eventually went down the tube.

    A giant creature known as Siphonophore Apolemia was found 2,000 feet deep off Western Australia by a Institute team. The jellyfish relative looks like one long creature, but is a colony of tiny organisms. The outer ring is an estimated 154 ft. long.

  17. The tentacles catch prey, and the white spherical structures near the center are reproductive cells. Giant hydroids have never been observed in Australian waters before, so this one might be a new species.
