    I am Jewish and I call them concentration camps because if we don’t talk about it like it’s that serious, then the everyday American can and will sit back and allow genocide to happen, just like they did with the concentration camps that held and killed my people.

    Because they are. Concentration camps don't necessarily refer to death camps exclusively. They refer to zones created to concentrate members of a (generally minority) population together. Though most infamously used in the Holocaust, there's no exclusivity to them.
