    My mum survived the Holocaust. This is not history for me. This is my family. Attending the dinner last night was, & is every year, a vital and extremely necessary reminder of how we MUST keep educating about the atrocities of prejudice and intolerance.

    It has been 19 years since people I knew were killed at Columbine. Vote for people who'll reform our gun laws, not those beholden to the gun lobby. I'll never believe gun profits matter more than the lives of people at CHS, MSD, Sandy Hook, VA Tech, & too many more.

    It has been 8 months since 17 teachers and young people where killed at my high school. Young people should be able to go to school to educate themselves on how to fix the issues the world faces and not be the victim of them in the process.

    I went to both requiem masses for brave Emma Mhic Mhathúna, in Kerry and Dublin. I've never seen anything like it. Such a fearless woman, and such a tragic loss. So unfair & cruel. Her poor children, it's very unfair. I hope this never happens again.
