Since 1963, the New York Film Festival has presented new and important cinematic works from around the world.
Lydia Tár, a character played by #CateBlanchett in the movie #Tár, didn’t leave me for months. Her performance was complex, nuanced and a total knockout in 2022. I experienced her luminescent persona at #NYFF during the premiere and I am rooting for her during the awards season!

Today at #NYFF I saw TRIANGLE OF SADNESS & TILL, AKA the films that should be winning the Oscars for Best Supporting Actress (Dolly De Leon) and Best Actress (Danielle Deadwyler), respectively.

Saw Till at #NYFF. Woke up thinking about it. Emmett Till thru his mother Mamie's eyes. A story some want to erase from schools & courts, a story many youth may not know. American story. Wanna see an actor on fire? See Danielle Deadwyler. Bravo, Keith Beauchamp & Chinonye Chukwu.

SHE SAID: A riveting blend of thorough, revelatory reporting and a very emotional story of two journalistic superheroes taking down Weinstein. A good film w/ minor fumbles but one knockout ending! The whole ensemble is exceptional. Especially Mulligan, Morton, and Braugher! #NYFF

Floored by Laura Poitras’ deeply moving, painful, necessary, and brilliant documentary ALL THE BEAUTY AND THE BLOODSHED about the unbelievable life and work of photographer Nan Goldin intertwined with her awe-inspiring activism toward the opoioid crisis. Essential cinema. #NYFF
