    One of my favorites from this morning. Nearly froze trying to get this capture. My fingers were stinging and numb, but had to get the click! Hope you like it!

  10. Given how "well" town is handling this year's , it's nothing short of witchcraft that it survived the spiciest season..

  11. For those that are wondering how this winter compares to the famed 2000/01 winter in St. John's... it's not even close, Winter of 2000/01 Nov 1st to Feb 4th: 379.4 cm This winter (same dates): 281.6 cm

  12. Breezy and about 5-10 cm on the West Coast with 10-15 cm likely for the long range mountains. Your temps will also drop through the day. The rest of the island looking at flurries as well but less than 5 cm and temps near or just below zero.

  13. St. John's has observed 281.6 cm of snow since November 1st... or 84% of the 335 cm average.

  15. The forecast for the Friday/Saturday system is looking a bit different today. Most guidance now taking the low a bit farther south, which means most of the rain may stay offshore. It also means areas of southeastern NF, may see snow changing to prolonged period of ice.

  16. Colder air moves in during the day tomorrow, which leads to falling temps for many areas of Newfoundland during the afternoon hours.

  17. Beautiful snow covered island today. You can see the ice forming in the Strait of Belle Isle.
