    Your work is definitely welcome and seen in this space. I think the projects are as diverse as the Leaders in the program are. To me, it has seemed that newness, collaboration, and risk-taking for the benefit of our communities (and ourselves) are all encouraged!

    First - do it! Second, give yourself plenty of time to work on the application so others can read it and provide you with feedback. If you make the in-person, continue to seek feedback and prepare thoroughly.

    This experience has been profoundly impactful. The relationships (within Cohort 3 and beyond) are priceless, and are backed by a wealth of resources and fresh ideas. Knowing that many of us share viewpoints (and endure many of the same challenges), has been so affirming.

    I had very little experience editing/producing video content and this part FREAKED me out! I used a hand-held small camera (similar to a GoPro), with my voice narration. It ended up being a meaningful experience for me (and I had a decent outcome)! You’ve got this!

    If the video prompt has not changed since I applied (2018), I don’t think having super brief (seconds!) of a few stakeholder’s words would be harmful to the app. Ultimately, remember that your voice/ideas, as the applicant, should be the most prominent.

    I am still a freshman 😊 so it is a little early, but I already know that CoHL provides a safe space to grow as a community leader – surrounded by a lot of incredible people. -I think this is extra special for those of us serving rural areas.

    So many of us are passionate “leaders on the ground” in some form. I have found we share a common trait of lifting, highlighting & recognizing others first. CoHL is teaching us to look inward as personal care & reflection releases our full capacity.

    This requires a much longer response than Twitter provides characters, but I will simply repeat I have seen myself anew, the value I bring to assailing health disparities and the remarkable resources available via my CoHl family.
