something makes me feel like it was an older woman who took advantage of him & that’s what prompts his obsession w/ young girls. he didn’t get to have proper healing...just fame & yes-people enabling his addiction. i see as an intervention rather than censorship.

“Weinstein is a pariah because many of his accusers are famous white women. Kelly’s alleged victims are discredited by their blackness...women of color aren’t even considered worthy of the time it takes to doubt them. Instead, they are ignored.”

FYI, : making choices about which artists' work you will and won't amplify is *not* acting as "judge and jury." It's choosing whether or not you will help enrich people who deliberately hurt others.

Would you play music written/performed by a school shooter? Why do you care less about the dozens of black women/girls victimized by R Kelly? You play his music, he gets money, and continues to abuse ppl from his position of influence.

. how can I permanently block R. Kelly songs from playing on my account? I have a playlist I love and ONE song is his and would be great to have a delete option but it’s a premade list.
