    Out for a walk tonight and noticed a new homeless camp south of Minnehaha and west of Nokomis. It has a generator and porta potty! Thankfully the park board is aware of the situation and as you can see from their Sept. 2 update, they appreciate my concern.

    Cops just saw a stolen vehicle with a KOPS alert headed east on 4th toward Cedar. 2018 Subaru, black KOPS Alert is usually issued when the crime involved weapons and/or threats to police 21:36

    This is in addition to the 4 GSWs that occurred before sunset. Time for action. Everything you love about Minneapolis is gone. Music, art , culture . Gone. And our dearly beloved Prince would be ashamed.

    Overnight. Can't even make it up anymore. 12 people shot including one dead in .

    I used to worry about raising my kid in S. MPLS b/c of all the needles. Then I remembered how as a kid in W. SoDak I was taught how to cut off a rattlesnake's head with a shovel. Don't buy the hype about how scary the big city is. It's just home.

    Getting conflicting reports about what’s unfolding here on Nicollet Mall. This was my walk up towards what I believe is main scene. Law enforcement has several blocks along the pedestrian mall & surrounding streets taped off. digging for more info on this one.
