    Tens of hidden Syriac manuscripts have been recovered by Iraqi Security Forces on Monday after the arrest of terrorist in province. These manuscripts are belonging to the churches of which were stolen during ISIS’ invasion in Mosul in 2014.

    2 I was on my way to document the restoring of the licorice vendor to one of public squares. This cradle maker caught my eyes. I couldn't resist stopping and make some photos for him. The place finally smells of wood in old . Smells & noises give places identities.

    3 The Licorice vendor statue is back to its original square in W. . People come &enjoy time in this small green space & the fresh air of the fountain. The statue was reinstalled by a young creative sculptor, Omar Al-Khaffaf. Sculptors are ona heated race to bring arts back.
