    I do worry for my kids about such remarks. But I hope I’ve raised them to bring kindness & love into this crazy world. We are all human. We all have emotions, we do need to feel them all to understand perspective but leave no room for racism.

    A very festive feast was had at today's community lunch. Thank you for lots of yummy food. We crafted candle holders and ended with singing and dancing.

    Wouldn’t it be nice and that instead of constantly attacking each other’s party and apportioning blame, we all work together to try to address homelessness, poverty and other social injustices.

    Every year since the Tories entered government in 2010 rough sleeping has got worse. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

    Already knew some of the things mentioned in the article due to growing up in the area I have, and not being shy to ask questions to my friends, but its made me realise even more that we have

    A national paper ran a feature implying British Muslims are poorly integrated for “refusing to celebrate a Christian holiday” I wrote this to ask reflecting on Jesus' radical message and what British Muslims really believe about him!

    Amid the sound and the fury of , Christmas is a time to remember those who have fought intolerance against the invisible, the marginalised and all of those without a voice

    For the last two years I’ve been working with who have supported the kids through the loss of Jo. They are an amazing organisation and if anyone is looking for groups to help this Christmas I highly recommend them.

    Mostly people with a passion for public service and a drive to change their country for the better. We owe a massive debt of gratitude to those people who are recipients of abuse, at times putting their lives on the line, for a better world.
