Strange how conservatives claim that investing in infrastructure that benefits everyone is a waste of money, but giveaways to private corporations are good. I’m sure Gianforte’s multimillionaire cronies will benefit handsomely.

The reasons the Montana GOP is attacking this language are the reasons the Portland City Council should adopt this exact same language in the charter. (They’ll need to fix the charter commission’s version, because of course.)
