    One of the refugees on Mnus has been suffering from a serious pain in his ankle for more than four months.His foot is bruised and he can only move one of his toes.He hasn’t received medical support and might loose his leg over this.He needs treatment before it’s too late.

    The man with a broken leg is on route to Manus airport. He should fly to Port Moresby soon. However there is no guarantee he will recieve proper medical treatment there. Medical neglect is one of the tools immigration uses to torture innocent people.

    A long-waited novel has just been released from Prison: No Friend but Mountains, features the author’s journalism and political views and life. The author, Behrouz Boochani is a Kurdish journalist from Iran detained in offshore Australian immigration detention facilities.

    I went to Manus Island with a filmmaker, we met the refugees, played music, listened to their stories and added some cold hard facts. Documentary screenings will be in Townsville, Gosford, Newcastle, Sydney, Thirroul and Eurobodalla.

    Mohammed Hamza Hussein requires urgent intervention to save his sight. He was flown from Manus on Friday 3/8/18, after suffering for 4 years. Mohammed Hamza Hussein is still in PIH Port Moresby hospital and nothing has changed about his situation yet.
