    Always feels like MB is ten steps behind... Other places are reinstating mask mandates whereas MB is tossing our own mask mandate before Delta hits. Yet another example of our govt continuing to be reactive instead of taking a proactive approach. It's exhausting

    This is a *significant* change in tone. I hope we can count on the "kids don't get COVID" crowd to do the right thing & quickly replace their bumper stickers. Or maybe they're ok with kids eating their dust.

    Movie theatres in Manitoba can only open to 50% capacity ONLY to FULLY VACCINATED people. Why then do these same rules NOT apply to university classrooms? In what world does this make sense?

    Manitoba Public Health has made itself irrelevant with unjustifiable and reckless health orders. Even the Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench is setting its own policy. Pretty bad when judges can craft a better health policy.

    The MB courts know the new Manitoba COVID recommendations are insufficient to protect Mbns. Such folly removing the mask mandate.

    If you are angry with this gong show of a press conference, then use it. Organize against this PC government that clearly has abandoned MBs. Peacefully protest. Write op-eds. Keep you & your family safe. And get political - there are saner options for gov than this mess.

    Masks won’t be mandatory when Manitoba students return to school this fall: The younger grades – Kindergarten to Grade 6 – will be in cohorts, while the older grades will have full class sizes with physical distancing in place.

    The MB PC gov is against masks in schools, but is now “for” your children self screening as a defence against covid. This is what my PC MLA Bob Lagassé sent me as an official response to my safe September questions. How can a grade 1 student self screen, Mr. Lagassé?
