    SLOW JAM… I-84 eastbound is very SLOW due to a crash near 181st. A pickup slammed into the back of a semi carrying hay. No injuries, but right lane blocked. Watch for stop & go traffic here… and a beautiful sky

    HI-DIDDLY-HO… our new pedestrian bridge in has been dubbed the ‘NED FLANDERS CROSSING’. The ‘Simpsons’ character is a product of Portland native Matt Groening, and the bridge itself sits along Flanders Rd. Great to see the city’s sense of humor in tact

    SMOKE RAIN… my news car covered in water spots this morning. It apparently rained overnight 👍. But with all the smoke in the air, it essentially rained mud. Car washes will be busy today 😬

    ALERT: the on ramp to I-84 east from I-5 south is CLOSED due to a crash. No word on injuries, appears to be single vehicle. Detour to I-405 south to access 84 east or use surface streets

    WOOLLY BEAR… crossed paths with this little fella - these guys known for forecasting the winter. The wider the rusty color band, the milder the winter. More black = more severe. This one says MILD WINTER for us this year. So there’s that 🤷

    Update - Crash on the Interstate Bridge is already clear. I-5 SB traffic backed up to Main St now. I-205 is looking much better.

    Not sure what occurred but emergency crews on scene near 185th and Evergreen in Hillsboro. Power is also out in the intersection so use caution.
