    in 1991, Soviet troops tried to crush protests in . Killed 14 & wounded 700+. But they couldn’t crush the dream of freedom, after decades of occupation. By year’s end, Soviet Union was thankfully dead. Here’s to the brave Lithuanians who helped make it happen!
