    That's why you want to use a 100% open-source computer like Librem with on it or a hacked Lenovo T400 with ! Both solutions disable the Intel ME engine which is a nasty backdoor and a huge vulnerability, especially when dealing with cryptocurrencies!

    The secondary processor exemption is also used by laptops which have proprietary Embedded Controller firmware. The irony there is that they recommend running proprietary Lenovo BIOS to update that Embedded Controller firmware:
