    Lovely to pop down to the new Sopwell Community Garden today to plant some seedlings & meet the team behind : a project to enable Sopwell residents to grow their own food at home and in community spaces, and to promote wildlife conservation. 🐝 Congrats everyone!

    Unlikely to be one of the biggies. As a invite you to check out our strong pro-env, pro-Europe & fairer-society positioning. We put in lots of community work all year round but suffer at times due to low media coverage, FPTP & two-horse tribalism. We're growing though. :)

    A country-wide first to start improving the lives of UK's estimated 20% in Suffolk, because of the previous SCC - group. Thrilled that the new Green-LibDem coalition can make other simple but innovative ideas become reality

    Unlike PMs, family risk poverty, lack of support, dropping off the radar, say . Most are women. Covid made their lives worse. There IS no list of UK carers. 's motion to list Suffolk's starts to address this

    Totally. A friend's husband was just elected as a Labour Cllr & he told me he spoke to one of the candidates (I'd been campaigning for her) at the count & what a nice friendly woman she was. He's NORMAL!

    The Chief Whip has moved the writ for the Chesham and Amersham by-election. Likely to be held on June 17, I'm told. A 16,000 Tory majority there.

    If you check with council officers they will confirm that these were requested by Cllr .It isn't Labour doing the hard work in Cannon Hill, it's the Lib Dems! Thanks to council officers. Another ticking off for Labour trying to take credit for others work!

    It's less straightforward than it seems. because & voters denied the ability to vote for their usual party won't automatically vote for each other... Possibly worth an experiment.

    Here's an idea. Labour don't stand a candidate in Amersham and Chesham. LibDems don't stand a candidate in Batley and Spen. Win win.
