    Happening in Thermis, right now. Migrants have reached the port in a rubber boat. A crowd is now stopping them from disembarking. There are reports of violence against journalist. Some roads around camp are being blocked by locals. No authorities on the scene.

    Me and were attacked by a group of fascists while reporting from the refugee boat in Thermi. They hit me with my tripod and kicked me while already laying on the ground. Michael was beaten worse but we’re both ok. The situation on is still very dangerous.

    Our crew was attacked by a mob of fascists while the was docked in Skala Loutron, . They shouted, threatened us & poured gasoline on our deck! Our crew saw themselves forced to leave & is now anchoring offshore. We'll stay & continue monitoring!

    Since several hours a major shitstorm is hitting me with people endorsing to murder me, that I should have been beaten harder etc. The only light in this are the moments of solidarity from friends, colleagues and strangers. Thanks to all of u out there ❤️

    I was able to (at least) retrieve some of the photos of what happened yesterday in the port of Thermi. This is what was supposed to be unseen. Kids crying, while angry men shout at them „Go Back!“. I still hope for the other card to come back to life.

    Police send journalists away, who wanted to report about a demonstration against a military-vessel, which maybe send people back to turkey. It is only a rumour, that military-vessel will bring back people, but it is a shame, when press is prevented to do their job.
